Albir is our neighbouring village. We live in Altea, five minutes from the promenade, and pass through every day. For a property in Albir or Alfaz del Pi that means short lines: we are there almost straight away if something happens, and an extra visit costs us no detour. Whether you own an apartment by the sea or a house further up in Alfaz del Pi, we keep an eye on it while you are away and let you know after every visit.
Albir asks for something different than a villa further afield
Albir is mainly apartments and terraced homes, often in complexes with a shared pool and their own administrator. Part of the work is therefore covered already, but what lies behind your own front door is not: post piling up, a drain that dries out and starts to smell, damp in a home that has been shut for months, and a terrace buried in sand after a calima.
What we do in Albir and Alfaz del Pi
- A walk through the whole property, from fuse box to terrace
- Your keys under lock and key, labelled with a code instead of your address
- A message afterwards; if we find something, photographs come with it
- Emptying the letterbox and forwarding whatever matters
- Airing the property and flushing the taps against standing water
- Sweeping the terrace after a calima or a storm
- Cleaning before you arrive and welcoming your guests
- Letting in the plumber, the engineer or a parcel delivery
Rates
For an apartment in Albir the entry package of € 45,- per month is usually enough. If you want more frequent rounds, or want us to attend when the alarm goes off, it rises to € 125,-. Cleaning is charged per visit, depending on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. What we quote is what you pay; we have no set-up or call-out charges.
